I'm currently on a T mobile plan, and I've got a crappy Nokia 3390 cell. If I were to buy the phone above, would I be able to just switch my sim card from my current phone to the new one and everything would work, or is an activation charge required as well?

I've been told that I can swap my current sim card into any phone T mobile available phone and that activating the new phone isn't needed...but I'm not sure if its true.

Any insights?

u can swap it as long as that fone IS for tmoble..btw...y are u gonna try to buy it on ebay for that price wen in real life..it's already nearly that price.......jus a bit more....u dont save that much if you're gonna buy it for that price.....

 

Well, I can't find that phone near that price WITHOUT activation and a one year contract. I'm already with T mobile, and I just want to upgrade phones. I went to a tmobile dealer and they said that In order to get that phone for even 350, I'd need to sign up for a new different contract. Unless you can find a phone for that price WITHOUT a contract, I don't know a cheaper place to get it.

if you really want a camera phone that works, get nokia 3650. yeah i know its huge and its not flip, but if you want one that works, thats the one to get. :tony:
