yea, I need to make some wireless bridges. My ISP has a plan that is 7.1 Mbps/768kps DSL for about 150 a month. I made a plan to split that with my neighbors. I can build 2 PC's to act as wireless bridges and transmit data using 802.11b wireless ethernet and then plug their network into my Linux router. Theres 2 of them over there, so they'd cover 2/3 of the cost and I would pay the other 3rd. That'd be around the same as what I'm already paying for 768/128.

 :boink:

God I love being a geek and beating the system.

amamax is awesome. I've been their customer for years! plus the fact that my business is right next to them so they can just drop off the package just right after i order!

Hey, if they're just your neighbors, drag out some Cat5. :chuckles:

I have a spool in my basement.
