Default Which monitor???

I am fixing to buy me a Dell computer & was wanting opinions on which monitor to get:

the standard 17" that comes with the basic package

the optional 15" flat-panel free upgrade

These are the only options I am considering cause I want to go as cheap as I can. i'd love to have a 21" flat-panel, but I'm not gonna drop that change.

I can get either for 450 w/ my work discount

15" flat panel. it'll be about the same size as a 17" CRT.

Flat panels are measured diffrently.

2+2=5 for large values of 2 :chuckles:

it's a marketing gimick thing weird setup type situation.

Yep the 15" flat.

Flats are measured by the actual viewable. CRTs measurements include the bezzle.

My 19" LCD is just as large as my old 21" CRT.

Every 18" Flat panel (1800FP) that I've purchased at work costed about $480, after using the 20% discount on peripherals and software thet Dell Small business gave every month...
