Ok, plenty of fighting but nothing too bad.

Good.

an okay one.

i try to be nice to them, i get a lot of money when they die.

me and my mom are like sisters, so we're best friends one day and worst enemies the next.

i don't live with them anymore and I haven't talked to them in about 3-4 months

it's hard talking to my father since his mental capability is equal to that of a 7 or 8 year old.

I'm pretty close with my parents... but since I don't live near either of them it kind of sucks...

we are ok. we get along better now since they know how smart and mature i can be. although we are not as close as i would like to be, but i guess thats how things are.

I dont want to sound like we are perfect, but it seems like I have the best parents in the world. More and more I hear about everyone elses and the older I get, the more I appreciate them.

They have ALWAYS been there to me, always been understanding and respected my privacy, while still setting the rules. It wasn't ever anything goes in my house, and with the mutual respect we had for eachother compromises were always a great way to settle things.

Sure we had arguements, but we still knew we loved eachother and that wouldn't ever stop. I can't really recall more then two or three times where we would have an arguement and we weren't back on speaking terms like nothing happened. There were times when we would scream and yell, but the next day it would be fine.

I was never really afraid to talk to my parents about anything because of the open relationship we had, I never keep anything from them. Thats why the trust me so much I guess. Even when I do things like I shouldn't like smoke up or whatever, I let them know. Letting them know I do it now and then isnt a problem because they can see its not an addiction or anything.

Even with the Marines they support me 100%, even though they know the worst might happen, its something I feel I have to do and I guess they respect that.

Sorry I got so into detail... but I never spoke about them like this before, and I am SO grateful for what I have.

its been 6.5 yrs since ive moved out, but i see them almost every weekend.....we had our ups and downs, and i would say it was pretty bad from 99-01 when i used to smoke a lot of weed, but since ive stopped, got my act straight, finished up school, grew up, i appreciate them for everything theyve taught me.
