what i would have done:
a) put it in gear and popped the clutch to start the car and brake
b) swerve into an open lane
c) pull the ebrake spin a 180 and go in the opposite direction

just got back
LT6916 and spanky got it
I stuck it in 3rd and popped the clutch, then applied the brakes and stopped a few feet behind the car in front of meh.
