damn that sucks for him. I wouldn't want to buy a car from a private seller that is 200+ miles away from home...

I think the buyer is a total tosser. What kind of person buys something without checking it out Esp a hard to find E30 M3.
Carfax about $20.00 would have been priceless in this case.
There is also two sides to this story and who knows what the real "facts" are. And someone who knows they are going to file suit does not blab their side all over the internet. I think the buyer got caught up in the passion of buying this car sight unseen and was his mistake. IM not saying that the seller did the right thing either.

Bottom line I don't feel sorry for this guy.
