The POS Focus, Part II
So, I go to start the Focus today, and it turns over but doesn't start. Again, turns over, doesn't start. I opened the hood, there was oil, so I smell gas, walk around the car to the back (our driveway is on a hill) and wouldn't you know, gas was leaking out. But it was only leaking out when you started it on (it was dripping when i got down and looked at it, but not a lot). So, my dad gets in it, backs down the driveway, and i push it to the curb.
Called triple A and the guy goes "Well, I've towed 3 other fords today!" And I burst out laughing. Seriously, if he started at 8, and it took him an hour and a half (that's how long it took him to get to our car) that's maybe 5 cars. So 4 Fords.
I washed the driveway off with dawn dish soap, that stuff gets out anything.

My dad took a pay cut this past december and was layed off this past week. That's why he traded in the Astro AWD for the Focus. Honda doesn't offer a small wagon, only the CR-V. Actually, only mazda offers a wagon, and it's too small.
I do have 4k to buy my own car. but I need a job to 1) pay for insurance and 2) i dont' want to have to worry about a car until next summer. Unless, of course, something good comes along that I see.
Focus was used, the resale value is what got my dad into buying it(because it was only 8k). We do have a 70k warranty on it, it's at 44 now. He won't keep it for much longer.
