Two years ago I was coming back to hammond from Baton Rouge at about 9pm. I was pretty much alone on the two lane highway. Out of nowhere, there was a fullsize couch in the middle of the interstate, taking up about 40% of both lanes. I shit my pants and almost lost control at 85mph, but I managed to get off the shoulder just in time. It sprayed gravel all up the side of my car and chipped the hell out of some paint on the quarterpanel. This was the only time in my life I literally thought I was going to die. The girlfriend was asleep in the passenger seat, and it reaaaally freaked her out.
