Default People who've had their cars stolen. How did insurance treat you?

My car was stolen last monday and it had a few aftermarket parts on it.

Anyone who's had their car stolen in the past:
-What insurance company did you have?
-Was the amount you received fair in your opinion?
-Did your insurance company reimburse you for your aftermarket parts?
-Did you have special coverage on them?
-Was it as simple as showing them receipts?
-Did they cover items you didn't have receipts for?
-Did your comprehensive rates increase after the claim?

Thanks to anyone who wants to answer.

Yes. got a little over 20K back.
No had aftermarket exhaust and stereo but they gave us so much just for the car so we didn't care.
Rates did go up, so I switched companies

That sux, I hope mine doesn't get stolen cause it was only valued at $1150 in 2000 by my insurance company. And It would be kinda hard to find a decent one for that much. Not that its a target like tegs and stuff are.

Same here! For that AllState rocks. For increasing and dropping people, allstate sucks but oh well. I found a cheaper place anyways
