Finally today after about a month after my old engine exploded, and 2 days after I finally got the new one in and it wouldn't start I finally got it to fire up today. It has open header and it loud as shit, it got all the neighborhood kids attention. I drove it like half way up the street until I realized I had almost no brakes cuz I didn't put on the booster vacuum hose. But I got her back in. She should be road worthy this weekend. I can't wait to kick some ricer ass.

If I actually own a car and can swap in engines into it myself than singular and plural is of no use to me :):fawk:

I mean you can still stop but you have to pump the brake a bunch of times and it doesn't work too good. But good enough. I once had to drive home like that cuz my vacuum hose had such a bad leak I had no brakes. Just downshift a lot and pump those bastards.

I'm not too knowledgable on the ZC engine...but to me it *looks* like its dohc, but from what I know, I thought it was sohc...

where am I mixed up?

I like the cone filter bolted directly on the intake manifold.

There are 3 kinds of ZC, the most popular is the 1.6 DOHC ZC (much like the D16A8 88-89 Integra engine) which I have. There is also a 1.5 SOHC VTEC ZC, and a 1.6 SOHC ZC (much like the D16A6). So you are sort of right.


Yeah I have no money for an intake right now, so I have to roll it ghetto.
