Abortion
OK I am just curious where people stand on abortion.
I am pro-life, consider a fetus to be a living being, and do not think I could ever ask/encourage a woman to get one...that it is the right idea. However, if I were a politician and had to vote I would uphold Roe vs. Wade and vote pro-choice. My reasoning is you can outlaw abortion but not prevent it. Atleast if it is legal you can regulate it, the practices, the methods, the sanitary conditions. My fear is that if we ban all abortions there will be a black market where not only the health and life of the fetus is at risk but also the health and life of the mother. But in voting pro choice I would also vote/support/write legislation to give mothers considering abortion a better option such as adoption agencies, orphanages, etc.

Its a repost...
I am pro life, unless its rape then its the woman's choice.
Reason: you choose to have sex and the crap about using protection is bs. Simple you have sex knowing the consequences of what can happen, now if as a result you create a result then its your damn responsibility to raise the kid or put him/her up for adoption. The kid didn't ask you to have sex, so you don't make the solution as simple as ending the kids life.
Thats why I don't have sex, and I won't until I am engaged or married because I don't want to deal with the chance of what will happen if the protection fails.

I am pro choice because I don't think it's the government's responsibility to enforce a morality on its populace.
I'll never be any part of it but if someone else finds themselves in that situation and doesn't have a moral issue with it, bully for them.

I am All for a woman choosing her fate, I dont think a woman she be forced to bring a child into the world when its not wanted, Its a womans body and its not the governments place to say she has to have a baby if she chooses not to.

I'm pro-life, so I voted no (kind of confusing). Here's what the fact of the matter is..... once a human fetus exists, who is anyone to kill it? This is not woman's rights. It's not about government control. It's about a human life that exists in her. And that life is just as voulnerable, defenseless, and innocent as a new born baby. Now, how many of you would support a woman's right to kill her new born? Thought so. Abortion kills a human life. Does away with it. And I've come to this opinion after going over in my mind 100 times about all the variables of bringing an unwanted child into this world. But if it is put up for adoption, or more often than not the parrental instincts kick in and all of a sudden the parrent(s) have a change of heart and work hard to keep the child, that life has a chance to be productive and contribute to society. Sure, it also has a chance to turn into a delinquent. But you will never, NEVER, know if you kill it.
Honestly, I think the best solution for this problem is not to ban abortion, but rather to encourage adoption. Financial support for pregnant women who cannot afford the health costs involved in having a healthy child would be a good first start. Unfortunately, our budget does not allow the expenses for the program and it would be highly unlikely for a Republican government to pass a bill supporting the "welfare state," whether it advances their agenda or not.
Outlawing abortion just leads to women giving themselves abortions with a coathanger. I would rather have any such procedures occur in a safe clinical environment, not only for the safety of the mother but also in some sense of humane treatment for the fetus.

well basically it boils down to this.
if you havnt realized it already, woman are in control of everything. (generally speaking)
1. they promote faster
2. they play the "ive been harrassed at work" crap.
3. they change men, and then ask the men " what happened to you, you've changed" when they break up
4. they can screw any guy they want at anytime they want.
5. they get free drinks at clubs, let alone get inside aswell.
6. they rape us financially when a divorce comes.
7. they talk to their girlfriends about their problems instead of us, which the girlfriends always say " just dump him. then you can spend more time with me, girlfriend"
8. they have no problem going on girls night out, but if we do it? we're cheating.
9. they have the ultimate choice of keeping or ending her pregnancy, regardless of what we (men) want..
i love woman, dont get me wrong...i feel its a personal choice and battle when one person in the relationship doesnt want the pregnancy to go through, that needs to be worked out in the first stages of a relationship not when it happens..
but i think the policy as it stands now of having it legal to abort a fetus at the third trimester (24 weeks) needs to be changed, i figure you find out in three months whether or you are pregnant, and it takes you another THREE MONTHS to decide to do the abortion???
check out this link here, hopefully if there are people out there who see this post will decide early on what is going to happen and not wait so long..
just my thoughts and only my thoughts on the situation.. peace
