and i pay 37 a month full comprehensive on mini cooper s (considered sports car)

i know people payu 200 a month on thier bikes, i paid 61 dollars full compresensive

I was entertaining the idea of a new car for the warranty. Turbo is a :nono: with a warranty.

i dont see why anyone, especially someone in the car scene, would settle for the 2.5 RS and not just get the WRX...I mean, if you say you can't afford the insurance, then don't get a 2003 car to begin with.

Sympl, what are you reasons for not getting the wrx?

I love the WRX. I don't want to buy one though. Here are my reasons...this is going to be my family car. It is going to be driven by my fiance with our baby in the back seat. I'll have a rare oppurtunity to actually boost it, but other than that....I'm gonna have to drive whatever I can afford as a second car and the lady will drive the high performance turbo car The RS is definitely cheaper all around. Insurance AND sale price.

You're gettin screwed man, you drive the econobox and your wife gets the "turbo performance car"?

You could always get an SRT-4...

Yeah...unless I want to take the child to work with me everyday...that's how it's gonna work out. I don't think I would be able to get into an SRT-4 for $18k. They're already priced at $19k something and I doubt the dealer will mark DOWN the msrp.

So is $18k a fair price on the 2.5 RS?? This guy really wants to sell me this car....go figure

Shiet....I just e-mailed a different dealership in Oregon and got a quote for $17,646. I think I'm gonna buy this car if I can get the good Subaru financing. The internet salesman is supposed to call me by the end of the day with thier decision. I can go silver or black. I'm thinking silver.....what would you choose?

Everybody gets silver. Black can look nice as long as you keep it clean, but if you don't want to wash the thing every week it looks nasty when it's dirty. Silver does look nice though...
