Inception discussion and *SPOILER* THREAD
***Enter at your own risk***
Let's discuss!
I'm still confused as to how Ariadne's plan to get Fischer to complete the mission worked. Since Fischer was shot in Level 3, he went to Limbo right? Presumably if a dreamer goes past Level 3, he/she goes into Limbo as well, but not as an effect of being killed in any dream level. So Cobb and Ariadne go to sleep in Level 3 to go into Limbo to rescue Fischer. Ariadne pushes Fischer off the patio to provide the kick to get out of Limbo, then she jumps off herself.
But was the kick just perfectly timed for Eames to resuscitate Fischer?

Also at the end, if you notice, Cobb's kids look like they've never aged. They look the same throughout the whole movie. In the film's first memory of the kids, they're doing the exact same thing and wearing the same clothes as they did at the end. Could it be that Cobb never actually left Limbo? Because it would be impossible to have a memory at the start of something happening in the present.

What I think may be possible is that his level 1 dream state is where he ended up.
I actually thought the movie would end with the chick being his therapist where she created this elaborate series of levels to try and heal the most fucked up dream thief ever. I expected him to wake up cured or something. But maybe he did end up 'cured' because someone incepted an idea into him!

According to the film, Limbo isn't anyone's dream. It's a shared subconscious built from memories. That's why I am thinking to get into Limbo without having to die, one must simply get past a Level 3 dream.
Ohhh yeah because time is stretched the deeper you go right?
Maybe, if you remember, he was getting resuscitated before she kicked him out (the lightning in the background). I'm pretty sure that the time lag in limbo was so long that while the zap was happening she kicked him out. So there's a much bigger window for a 'perfectly timed' kick.
