meh
i know nothing about the Kindle. does that require you to subscribe to a data plan, too? either way, it'll make money b/c it's an Apple :( |
total waste of money
its an oversized iphone without the phone or camera. it runs on a iphone OS. if i buy a tablet i want it fully functional, not a phone OS. i mean the iphone OS is nice and all but this thing is like 700 bucks if you want 3G on it and it isnt even a full fledged OS |

Since it's not backlit, the Kindle's battery lasts up to 15 days on a single charge. (w. wifi / 3g disabled). Kindle does have networking abilities (for free), but again, it's not a web surfing powerhouse. It's more than enough to get you to buy a book and check email. |
they already have those down south.

i'm not that impressed with it

It was never meant to have all the functionality of a laptop, but rather to bridge the gap between a laptop and an iPhone. It's good for people that are not at a computer all day and move about a lot but don't feel like carrying around a laptop everywhere. It also has a lot of cool features and gaming potential. It syncs up with iTunes just like the iPhone so it makes bringing all your multimedia with you really simple. Plus, there is a lot of potential for some really cool accessories like a wireless webcam that you can just set down next to it and have it work via bluetooth and stuff like that. |
