I got a Roomba about 6 months ago, and I love it. It has a dock, and then whenever my room is dirty, I use the remote and press "max" and then it starts, cleans, and then puts it's self back on the dock.

I'd rather take the 15 min to vacuum my apartment myself and make sure it's clean. You will often find things that the roomba won't. Your roomba can't move your furniture out of the way when it cleans either.

be cool for light cleaning in between actual cleanings or while youre away. can it be set on a daily timer?

Ya. The Roomba won't get details, but it's good for when you don't feel like getting out the big vacuum.

Do you think you could train a small monkey to ride it?

The one I have doesn't have a timer, but I think the next model up does.

Yeah that's what i'm looking for. My cleaning lady comes in every 2 weeks and move all the shit around to clean well but i want something that will keep my apt clean everyday. I'm loking for a timer release that will send out the roomba every other day when i'm not at work and will dock itself back :oh:
