Their logic in that much per song is probably attempting to say each one was downloaded x amount of times from that user. But to say each song was downloaded from him 22,500 times is ludicrous. It's all in the lawyer fees. RIAA wins, Johnny college student loses, Law firm wins HUGE.

True, law firm will win $ regardless if this guy pays the fine or not. ( Not is more likely )
