scrap the 1000cc biked from your list (dangerous, no need for 1000, and more $$$ than the 600-750cc bikes that are ALL you need).
Add the GSX-R 600-750 to your list. One of the best sport bikes out there next to the 600rr.
I for one would remove the Kawi just because in reviews the Kawi's are always last.
There are a couple 600rr's around me for $5k, a few (older model) GSX-R's for $5k, and 2 675's ($6k)

Really, the last few reviews I read put Honda first, Kawi second, and then Yamaha and Suzuki flip-flopped for 3rd and 4th.
And I was only looking at it because the price was low.
