'05 = 2.0, '06 = 2.5 Same as the dubyarex.

I don't mind RWD in the snow, but a bimmer would definitely mean some pricey snow tires in winter time.

I've never owned a car with less than 115k on the clock and I'd kinda like to. For that reason alone, I'm kinda shying away from the e39.

you can find an e39 for around $15k w/ far fewer than 100k miles, atleast from what i've seen.

With the other cars, I'm looking at closer to 50-60k, which I'm very happy with. The bimmer (assuming I find one with sport package and winter package)... not so likely. :/

:edit: plus I hate leather and would have to buy some cheesy seat covers for it

Of those listed, I like the e39 (biased, obviously) or the Legacy GT.

I guess I need to get out and drive a legacy gt and see just how "sporting" it is. It's about 300-400 lbs more than the 9-2x, which isn't encouraging, but there are *some* heavy cars out there that are still decent cone-chasers.

I'd like to drive a e39 also, but I'm kinda losing interest in that one... just not my style. Maybe if I can find a wagon :/

Well, that too, but the main thing is my signs have to fit in the back. So it either has to be a wagon or have full folding rear seats. In the case of the e39, I just think the wagon looks badass

Although I do have a lot of fond memories of the back of a particular subaru :rick:
