Default cars you wouldn't throw out of bed

...so to speak. I find there are only a handful of cars that I would actually keep if they were given to me (rather than selling and doing something else with the money).

-legacy GT turbo wagon
-06-07 wrx wagon
-BMW 3 or 5 series (3.0 or bigger, folding rear seats)
-84-85 fuel injected 4runner
-96-02 4runner with elocker
-unimog with double/crew cab or van/camper box
-:edit: 4th gen civic Si, any gen crx Si
-:edit: 4x4 powerstroke ford van

And that's pretty much it, as far as I can fathom. There are lots of cars I would love to have (Cayman S, Lotus Elise, etc), but given what they're worth and what I could do with that money, I probably wouldn't keep them if I had the chance.

Hows about you?

Hmm, I guess to stay right on topic...

Toyota truck
4 Runner
Cherokee
S2k
Miata

Anything else I would probably pick its market value in cash over the car

i'm the opposite, if a car was actually given to me in running, smog legal condition - the criteria isnt that big for me to NOT keep them.

basically almost anything japanese, newer than 1992 i would keep along with a lot of american and german cars as well.

Datsun 240/260/280Z/ZX. I don't really care the condition. I wish I hadn't sold mine.

I am just waiting to run into an elderly couple that has one kept in their barn and would take $500 from me to take it away from them :wtc: :x:
