Default Well maybe I'll get to pick up the car

tomorrow from the body shop...But I'm going to end up with mismatched wheels. Maybe I'll become a trendsetter. They couldn't get my white Kosei K1's so I'll have two silver ones on side that was damaged (both rims were bent) and two white ones on the other side and the insurance company wouldn't go for replacing all 4. The body shop is giving me the bent ones, I'll take them to a wheel shop and see if I can get them fixed.

Apparently they've discontinued them in white, all that seems to be available new are silver in the 7.5" X 17" size that I have. Yes they are quite popular especially with autoxers, but more so in the 15 and 16 inch sizes.

I may see about getting them powder coated, but I don't know what color, but not black.

The wheels aren't stock, I'm lucky that they are replacing the two of them with the same brand.

Did you try to get them to replace all four? Last week, our shop did a bunch work on an 07 C70 with aftermarket wheels and couldn't get a single replacement for it. They bought the guy 4 brand new wheels. I guess some companies just do things different.

We asked but AAA said no. Glad I didn't have to put the stock wheels back on, then I'd have to buy 4 more brand new tires...
