Default want to pick up another Dslr - D50...what do you think?

what do you all think of the D50?
is it similar to the xt/xti from canon?
how much should i pay for one in an excellent condition?

someone from another forum has this and i'm interested

i have this camera and the xti. even though this camera is almost 2 years older than the xti, i still prefer the d50 over the xti. dont let the megapixels fool you. even at 6mp compared to the xti's 10mp, i still think the nikon looks sharper and has more accurate colors.

i'm reading up on it over at dpreview right now
seems like a solid camera

wonder if i should offer i for about 200-250 (just camera/batt/charger...no kit lense)

I <3 my D50... great cam.

i paid $325 for one body (but came with SD cards, case, etc.), and $219 for anther body (sold one to my roommate).

even if its cheap, it will cost you more in the long run for new glass.
