my boss has this map that he's scanned into the computer. the lines look pretty shitty and he wants them cleaned up and smooth, so he can print a nice copy or put it online or wahtever he wants to do with it.

here is a small portion of it. i've tried selecting the river with the magic wand, doing expand one, then feather, but then it's pretty wide. just selecting it and filling it in looks weird to me..

i don't know if there is somthing easy that i'm not thinking about or don't know how to do.

well it actually prints out alright now that i've done it, but there is like a blue-ish background, instead of it being white :o

scanning again.

There is a way to do thin out the lines, but I can't remember how to do it :o


Guys in art message boards do it all the time when they color inked drawings :o

well we just fucked with saving it and printing with different settings and it looks alright.
