Photoshoppers, I need your assistance w/pic
 

Basically, the only way to get an arc from vertical and horizontal lines was drawing out a circular shape. Now I want to get rid of the rest of the circle and just keep the arc but erase REALLY fucks it up.

Keep the arc, loose the shape. Simple.

I think he only wants the arc bewtween the lines to appear.....the red part in attached photo. :dunno:

Yes. And when I try to erase the remainder it doesn't using normal methods.

I would try for you, but PS is at home and I'm at work.

Select the dark circle layer and erase it.

how hard can that be honestly?

Trust me, that doesn't work at all.

Then you did somehing wrong, most likely you created a new layer with a solid black background so that the image behind it won't show.

I would have done it right the first time myself :p

use the select tool, select what you want deleted, press delete. not that hard
