i hit up the outlets too and the big sales at the higher end department stores. then tailored as needed.

 

2 Polo RL, 1 CK and 1 Zegna.
The Zegna is custom, the others are off the rack with minor alterations.

And :werd: on the outlet stores.
I dunno if it's the buyers or my timing.. but I've had great luck nearly every time.

 

i find it amazing that some of you have never worn a suit nor had the need to h:

no suits at weddings or job interviews?

 

I don't wear suits, I used to wear sport coats with dress pants. Most of my sport coats were silk or silk blends, wool makes me itch. I go to weddings in Hawaiian shirts (some of my quieter designs) and dress pants (yeah I have a pair or two around).

when i worked the door at the club, i wore a suit, but since then only on a few occasions. i have 2 & they came from s&k. if i had a job that required a suit, i'd shop there & probably men's wearhouse

custom tailored or bust. I have 6 suits and they are all custom tailored Brooks Brothers. I have a funky build though so all off the racks look goofy as shit on me. I also have my shirts tailored as well.

 

I don't think it's that weird. Weddings just wear some nice slacks and a button down shirt. Some people don't work, or look for work in places where that kind of attire is needed.

I didn't have a suit till last year. And that's not because I needed one, I just wanted to get one.

I need to do that because of my retarded build, too. How much does a suit usually run you?
