If you want to give this a shot, Microsoft recently launched a cash back rewards site. Use your Microsoft Live login (same email registered with your 360 Xbox live account) and shop away.

1. dump your cache and cookies.
2. go here: http://search.live.com/cashback/stores
3. punch through to NewEgg.

2.7% back on $578 is $16. Not a load of loot, but it's like getting the fan for free. :hs:

Pretty solid setup. Keep on eye on your Fry's ad, I managed to get an Antec 500 for $90....

You are getting like 4 of those 2gb kits right?

Ram is so fucking cheap, I don't know why everyone isn't just maxing their boards. So what if your OS can't see it now, in a couple upgrades it will and you'll be balling.

I spent less than $150 and have 8GB ram. And it was only that expensive because I got low latency stuff. Hell you can get 4gb ram for that beast and only be a little bit more than what you are spending now, still keep you under $600.
