i dunno i would guess its the same effect as a microwave... i dont know that i believe it works but i think the theory is solid...

you know how I know it's fake. 4 people pull out 8 phones. /end

also, a microwave heats up a metal plate that heats up oil, that then cooks the popcorn.

i know people that have a work phone and a personal phone... and i know if i had a few friends over, between our phones and holly's phone, a home phone... it wouldnt take long to come up with 8 phones.

idk what kind of micro wave you have but mine doesnt have a metal plate in it that has oil inside of it...

last time i checked the microwave used "microwaves" to create heat to "pop" the pop corn kernels.

not exactly. especially with bagged popcorn. a microwave uses radio waves.

Welcome to viral advertising. You just helped infect others.

They are fake. The company that made them gladly says they are fake. But too many people want to believe that they do, and so it gets posted yet again. The ad is not obvious, may not even be in all the videos. But they are getting hits and that's what they are aiming for.

It's been on the news. It's simple a fake video, made to look real to get people to spread the word instead of them paying for traditional ads. There's no "well maybe it's this...." No it's simply a commercial. Just like you see on TV. Most of them have CG or "effects" of some sort. This is the same thing, just not an obvious advertisement.

if you look, there's a little piece of aluminum in the bottom of the bag. It's there to concentrate heat.
