Of my school..
Students, I wanted to let everyone know that our RIAA violation Notifications are up by 3000% this week. We are required by copyright law to notify the network user about the illegal nature of this activity. P2P sharing programs in themselves are not illegal so we do not prohibit traffic on our network. It should be pointed out that your use of these programs share files over the internet and that sharing of copyright material, music or video, is illegal and can be traced back to you. The MUSIC Coalition's website at www.musicunited.org , contains valuable information about what's legal and what's not when it comes to copying music. The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) at www.mpaa.org/anti-piracy/index.htm also contains valuable information regarding video. |

Our school doesn't give out their names. They just make them write a 5 page paper and promise not to do it. |
