Wasn't very exciting. Blood didn't "gush" out...just sorta dripped out slowly over the course of 30 minutes. The pin prick is tiny and barely noticeable.

I smashed my pinky nail a few years ago and the blood that pooled under my nail was pretty uncomfortable. I tried taking some pain killers and sleeping it off but the throbbing kept waking me up. I ended up going to a doctor who burned a hole in the nail and blood squirted out. :chuckles: Man, what a relief though. Blood continued to ooze out of the hole for days and I eventually lost the nail. Like puffy said though, another one was already growing beneath it.
