I am not impressed with a good portion of that list since a lot of it is on status and not on the actual snow quality, mountain size and trails available.

They make it seem that just because 2million people g there every year that it is a great spot, but that is exactly what makes them poor choices to go to. Gimme Grand Targhee or Lost Trail over any of those gaper shitholes any day, I want to ride not stand in line or look at the view.

Save your money on Big Sky and drive to the west side and hit Lost Trail instead. Better snow and terrain. I worked a season at Big Sky and was far less than impressed with their snow and terrain.

BTW you work for Boyne?

edit:

ya john, i used to ... its like a right of passage back home, everyone winds up working for them growing up. but my dad has known everett kircher since he started and we did business with them forever. now that the kids are taking over we are friends with them too. all of them are great people except for his son, total asshole.

Hit me up when you do and I will come out and join you and show you some fun stashes that are worth a weekend or so of exploration.

If you do hikes we could get a group and hit Beehive Basin which is about a 3 hour hike and only about 30 minutes from Big Sky. You could also go over to yellowstone and rent snowmobiles then strap your board on your back and hit the backcountry with a ride.

Yeah theres a lot to see around there and do if you get out a little bit. I just found the snow inconsistent but I did have a lot of fun there too...just not a place I would personally pay to go to by choice.
