I think it will be opened since I have 30 days to return it with no restocking fee etc...The only reason I would return it is if I get the 37" version at Target.

Once you go HD, you won't go back.

I love gaming on my HD Philips 42" Plasma

But yeah once you hook it up you will be spoiled, not so much for the HD but just the change in image quality all around.

I hooked it up...played some Halo 3 and now trying 300. Time to buy some HDMI cables.

I was gonna buy a HD tv (~42" -46") this week on black friday but i'm gonna hold back a little longer, maybe during/after christmas. Wanna save up just a little more and get either a Samsung or a Sony. One of my buddies that works at bestbuy (know quite a few there) told me those were the most reliable/least problematic(sp?) and overall best HDtv's to get next to the Pioneer.

I think honestly that for gaming and animation the HD is really awesome to have and it makes a huge improvement...especially with text.

One thing I find bad with HD is it looks wrong to my eye. I was checking out a Blu Ray demo of POTCII last night and it just looked off and fake to me.

The Samsung/Sony's are like double the cost...I definitely notice the difference, but my bank account cannot handle it...

Not to thread jack, but does anyone have experience with the Vizio LCD sets?

I'm looking at the 37" VW37L if it makes any difference.. :oh:

I went on CNET and read about ALOT of HDTV's cause in interested in buying one soon. Type it in and read the reviews and what other people rate & said about the tv after buying it.
