Nice man. Looks much better. I was thinking the same as Shawn as far as wet sanding but it looks like that did the job

Just went for a little spin and the light output is much better. I didn't even realize that my headlights were out of alignment since the beams were so weak... now its nice and sharp (nice cutoff of light), and I can see they need to be re-aimed. h:

Those transfer marks will likely buff off with that buffer, despite it not being all that powerful.

Just use something like Meguiars ColorX or Mother's Power Polish. Follow with wax.

Thank you sir. I think I'll give it a shot and then take it to a detailer if I can't get it to come out right.

5 minutes, no hard scrubbing ... headlights back to 100%

I seriously doubt ANYTHING could have taken care of my headlights in 5 minutes... they were bad.

i woulda put money on it.

used the permatex kit on a headlight from a 94 ranger that has been through the war or at least it looks it.

ok .... so maybe more like 15 minutes h:

i bought 5 of those "kits" off ebay for $30 shipped

i need to do mine & my friends car while i'm at it....maybe i'll make that her xmas gift since she was complaining about not getting any light out her headlights the other nite
