Nope, that was all surface haze. If you've got condensation, this method wont help you h:

No, it's not going to fuck up your paint. Only way lacquer will harm paint is if it is not fully cured yet. It may leave some residue but a "cleaner" wax will remove them.

Is the buffer random orbital or rotary? Pics?

That's a random orbital, more suited towards applying wax or a glaze than "polishing" a car.

Honestly I'm not a fan, many people feel that you can get professional results using them but honestly you get the same results doing it by hand (albeit more work).

I'm not a big fan of heating up clear coat unless I have to, you only have so much to work with. :hsdunno:
