if you were going for a entry level coilover..
for what car and what purpose?
I have yet to see anything definitively better than the koni/GC combo for autocross and even most track apps. Any spring rate you chose, and a shock that can handle upwards of 500lb springs (or OEM) with little drama.

I'm running the Function and Form Type II on my G35 and I must say that I'm impressed. It's been almost a year and it's wonderful. I'm pushing it pretty hard.
I've been in Tein CS, Flex, Mono Flex, JIC FLTA2, Cusco, HKS RS before on the G35, and overall, I must say the F2 setup hangs pretty well among those tough crowd. It has the comfort the CS on low damping but the firmness of the FLEX and JIC. With ~200% stiffer spring rates, I thought it'd be crazy, but it's all good with correct valving, etc. Tein Monoflex killed my back after couple street runs and bumps.
My only complaint is that at MAX HEIGHT setting of the coilovers, I'm still pretty much slammed.
Another new one I heard of is Stance and it's one of the new fav among the Z crowd.
