does anyone's company use hireright?
No clue about that company, but f/ my experience, the background check is usually calling your school(s) and verifying your degree, and just verifying that you in fact worked for the previous companies. Sometimes a credit check if the companyn wants it
I'd assume that they could. I was never asked about my GPA, but i volunteered it b/c it was good. Even if you had a shitty gpa, be honest. Its more about the fact you completed a degree than anything.
they assign you a background investigator and they coordinate a single-scope background investigation up to 7 to 10 years, some areas your entire life. depending on the security clearance your position requires, they'll dig and dig for whatever dirt you have.
My father is an investigator for USIS, a company that does background investigations on people who are looking to get into a government position. Do you have any specific questions as to what they check? I can get some answers for you.
