I'm surprised with a setup like yours, you didn't do it already. It'd work perfectly.
It was one of those things I had considered but let slide in the initial build since I still was considering going touring class racing with it.

Now that my car is no longer eligible except in exhibition class it doesn't matter anymore.

Speaking of going big...

My understanding is that the main benefit of the ITBs is that it will add to my midrange power and smooth it out some. Is this correct?

I have driven ITBs once but didn't have anything to compare it to really.

I wouldn't doubt it. With the flexibility of swapping out the air horns and a strong EMS, you have a smorgaaaaasbord of possibilities.

OK that is kind of what I was looking for because right now with the stock setup it has low or high but not much in the middle. This may change after the dyno tuning this coming week so I may just leave it still.

What kind of EMS are you looking into?

Gonna give another shot at the Mugen reprogram setup I have now. If that doesn't work I was edging towards the AEM setup.

One thing I may be doing is changing out the fuel rail and the intake manifold because they are currently both stock. When I do that most likely I will go ahead and get some bigger injectors as well. Currently running 550s I believe but I am thinking of going 700 and dumb em down a bit.

I see, not sure if the Mugen's gonna like it but since it's there already it wouldn't hurt.

As for your rail/squirters, I think you should be fine with the OEM rail. Stock B-series ones can handle up to 450hp.....and your injectors, I would be weary of going that high. When I ran 754s it was hard for my guy to fine tune them for the street. But then again since this will be your track car, shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah can't remember why we stayed on the injectors I have now but such is life.

I don't know though the thought has come to me about selling it and picking up a 70s model Porsche Carerra or Boxster and turning it out for track use so I can race with the Porsche Club and get some real road course time in.
