Xbox 360 owners: Question

I have the opportunity to buy an 8th month old 360 with the 3 rings of death for 130 dollars. What do you think? Do it and repair it myself or send it in for warranty service? Or just forget about it and buy brand new?

8 months should still be under warranty, send it to microsoft

Yeah it is under warranty so I'm debating, he's got the receipt and everything. Includes all the premium accessories

yup..just call up Microsoft and tell them it fucked up..you will tell them the serial number off the box and they will ship you a box to ship it back in
