I dunno, maybe make a list of pros and cons about the Y and Ballys and go from there.

$24 a month, no contract or fees. Just pay first and last month.

werd thats what I thought but like I said they will por-rate you on your income but the lowest they'll go is like $50 a month

that's insane. iirc i paid 25/mo a few years back with a corporate discount, i think regular was 35.

When I tired to swim at the Y, they told me I had to join. I was already a member of 24, but I asked anyway. It was about $50 a month, with a 50 processing fee.

When i checked out the pricing for the Y here Its $588 a year ($49 a month) with a $100 joiners fee
