sry for that kid, but its no surprise ... the general population really has no understanding of the arab world ... and its human nature to fear that which you dont understand... and with everything the media jams down our throats related to arabs involving terror, or violence, or radical ideology well its no surprise that he is treated this way.

If they wanted to bridge the gap they would help the arabs learn english. Instead they are keeping the school segregated by the language barrier.
Among the efforts in New York to bridge the gap between Americans and the Arab world is a new bilingual Arab-English school. But that too has faced opposition.
