Default What the hell am I thinking?!?!?!

So I have been fiending for a rig I can finally go up and wheel of my own. Playing spotter and winch bitch is a lot of fun but I wanted my own trail rig.

So I finally got one a couple weeks ago (3 to be exact) and took it out twice and played around with it. Had a blast but last time I was up I broke a simple driveline brake that could have been fixed and back on the road already. Instead I decided I didn't want to put time into some stupid design flaw only to break it again.

So I decided I would just swap out the transfer case so I could avoid that...but to do that I would have to swap out the rear axle.

So I have the rear axle to swap...of course while I am there I should do my spring over which means new drivelines and steering. Well I may as well swap out the tranny since I am there and for lower gears. Then I need a cage, and I want to lik the rear and stretch the front and rear a bit then I may as wel....

It just doesn't end and I have only had the thing for 3 weeks...what is wrong with me h: :chuckles:

Exactly what happened too.

I was siting around coffee with a friend when he asked about how the rig was doing and I went and told him I was tearing it all down because of the parking brake...he kind of gave me :squint:

Different situation, but same results;

My coral reef aquarium bites my ass.
I'm getting new and more delicate coral, so i'm upgrading my $120 lights with $200 lights.
My water needs to be skimmed, so $115 protein skimmer.
I need to reduce my phosphates so $60 phosban reactor
I need a more pure means to water so $200 reverse osmosis/deionization water filter.

It fucking never ends.

It's like...a blower is so expensive, I might as well get a 100 shot dp and a clutch/flywheel.
