which one is the ignition harness... i need to draw a 12v source .

Use a test light on one of the open spades when the key is in the "ON" position

i need a constant for alarm...so it should be on w/o "on" position,

Not sure how i go about testing.. i got a multimeter, can i test it w/o stripping it?

not to sound like a total dick, but if you need help figuring out how to find a constant power supply, then i would recommend you stop at your attempt to install this security system. alarms and remote starts are two things its a good idea not to mess with unless you know what your doing

its a very basic install... I just want keyless,entry , i got a module..it needs the 12v, and i'll connec the two unlock/lock wires

seriously and fyi the more basic the units usually the worse they are , not trying to be mean, but i know from experience

If you need constant power, flip your meter to the DC side, keep the key off, ground the black and run the red over the prongs, you will see 12v power on the meter when you find the wire you want...

MF'in :werd: I don't even attempt that shit when friends ask me to help.

My gf's car is all screwed up because it has an improperly installed alarm. I need to rip out the wires one of these days.
