Gallardo is also AWD if I remember right...seems to sit pretty low and is pretty aerodynamic if you ask me

Some people should think before posting difinitive responses like that.

then why is a G35x .6 inches taller than a regular G35 Sedan.

.6 is a normal variance within even the same trim vehicle. I don't see how this lends credibility to your argument.

Ok wanted to also add...


Airflow and ride height are not mutually exclusive design elements. Airflow does affect mileage much more than ride height by any means.

This is not to say a lifted truck can get the same mileage as a lowered Civic. Rather this is saying the same model vehicle at stock height, lowered height and raised height with a variance of 3 inches each way would get similiar mileage if using same tires body kit etc.

Now take the same car and start mixing and matching wheels and aero kits and you will start seeing a change.

Again the thing that adds to the mileage of a 4wd or awd vehicle is the extra rotational mass added to the vehicle. This means xfer case and front end assembly sometimes more and sometimes less but that is the bulk of it.
