how to order a dirty vodka martini with only a little olive juice?
 

i like just a little bit of of olive juice in my vodka martini, but not nearly as much as they put in a "dirty" martini... is there a name for a vodka martini with just a little olive juice, or should i just keep ordering a "dirty vodka martini with only a little olive juice?" :oh:

Pretty simple just say something like "Dirty vodka martini light on the juice though" and it pretty much solves it :)

a proper dirty martini should be served only with a splash of olive juice...it shouldn't taste like a salt lick.

yeh, that sounds a little less awkward...

it's not that i can't tell him exactly what i want, i was just wondering if there was a simpler way to say it, or maybe even a different name for it.

I like dirty martinis extra dirty.

I have the same problem. Bartenders at non-upscale places always dump in the olive juice, when you really only need a little.

vodka martini, dirty, hold the vermouth, juice, and garnish :)
