BTW, the majority of the top business leaders from the last century had their MBA from Havard School of Business. (just something interesting I remember from the book)

if you wanna be makin big bucks, then get an MBA from a top 20.

for me, i can't justify giving up 2 years of salary plus pay another 60k for tuition. i'm trying to get a condo in the bay area soon and there's no way in hell i can afford $3500/mo in mortgage/proptax/HOA as a student. however, a CFA (chartered financial analyst) isn't out of the question.

Company paying for MBA FTW. I am looking to get mine from NYU or Columbia. Also, it is best to have about 3-4 years of experience working before going back.

I really really want to pursue this too. My mentality is "sooner, the better".

I got my BS in 06. I'll eventually be going back to get my MBA. Most decent MBA programs require a few years of "real world" experience before they admit you. I'm hoping to get into Portland State eventually, which has an average work experience time of like 2-3 years. So maybe the year after next.

4 classes away from completing MBA

Yes, it is going to get me a better job as it is required for the positions I am interested in.

My BS degree is enough to get by on, but if I want to get a six figure salary I'm going to need the MBA.

FWIW, my job is paying for it, so heck yeah, sign me up.

Wouldn't do me good if I become a firefighter/police officer...my gf on the other hand, it'll help her a great deal.
