XP install question

you can start the setup on one computer... but you have to pull out ( :hsugh: ) before xp starts configuring the components/drivers.
youll have to finish the job on the 2nd computer.
a full installation then transfer, usually leads to problems.

in short the answer it NO. unless the two computers are exactly the same.

kinda what I figured...
reason is I was building a comp for someone and I saw a Dell-branded copy of XP on cl. I have a dell so if I could just stick the HD my comp to access the install files it would be real easy. I'll probably still get it just for the COA, and torrent a install ISO for XP. Will be a technically legit copy of XP that way.
