I live with my parents and I'm saving till next year which by then if everything goes well, I can put a good downpayment on a house :x:
Maybe it's just different lifestyles, I think that's why I don't think I can live off 60K and still have fun

not even close to it. 60k/year is not "bad" by any means... but its nowhere near being able to be financially comfortable with extra play money.

60k is still slightly under my comfort zone. thats only 5k/month. if thats 5k gross income, thats less than 4k/month net. thatll cover my fixed expenses each month... then i would be broke until the next month's paycheck. no way :down:
100k for a single man, no dependants, to live alright.
