better picture quality + reduced cost does seem to be a better than the ability to hang it on the wall.

I bought a flat screen on Black Friday and i've been satisfied with it so far.
Westinghouse 42" LCD HDTV. Only paid $1270 for it and that's with the extended warranty from best buy.
