Yea over here......I won't drive in the snow unless I absolutely have to.
Not because I really hate driving in the snow, it's because other people don't know how to drive in the snow. They still drive like it's in the middle of July in 85 deg weather.
meh thats how i drive....i find it no different driving in snow than regular dry roads. but then again i feel completely comfortable in snow. my dad started teaching me how to handle a vehicle in the snow when i was 14 so ive had plenty of practice. i actually enjoy sliding and spinning
Not if they have traction control, 4 wheel drive, and snow tires. I ran regular tires with just my gas pedal and the brakes.
well, IMO traction control is completely worthless to anyone who knows how to drive. 4wd definitely helps you get going, but getting going is never the problem when it comes to snow-related accidents; its stopping. Snow tires are definitely the key factor. But given similar tires, I'd take your accord any day over a tahoe or explorer in the snow.

Oh i'm a great driver in the snow. I once took my gsr on a 45 min drive (1 way) and back in the worst storm we had last year. Some people don't understand the concept of smooth turning, gradually applying gas pressure, leave LOTS of room for breaking, turning in the direction of the slide, etc. I've almost gotten hit so many times last year, not because of me but other people being totally oblivious to their surroundings.

smooth turning, slow application of gas,? ive never done those in my lifeh:
but i live in a very small town so i dont have traffic traveling with me so its a different scenerio
I've run into several fixed objects/parked cars... I blame my ballz, not my driving skillz. h:
three mailboxes powersliding into the driveway...mom still doesnt let me live those down
two front bumpers taking on ditches with my tempo...
my dads parked plow truck in the front yard because i was being retarded and doin reverse doughnuts in the tempo
and i cant count the times ive driven the tempo across the neighbors 16 acre field because i failed to make the corner and wound up in a field that was 4 ft deep in snow
theres many more but in my defense every time was me being retarded in a situation that would and could only harm myself with no one else around. i knew i was gonna break something just not what
I power slid over a parking lot curb in my 92 lude. that was fun...my friend had to get out and push the car off the curb
ive met my fair share of curbs and embankments...having a hs parking lot the size of a football field taht was generally empty was a recipe for disaster
