a little background

i bought myself a canon a80 a couple years ago, the wife primarily used it and when she broke it, i replaced it with an a620 (still mine, mind you). she primarily used that and broke it, as well. (dropped both).

fast forward to this week. she tells me she wants a digital camera for christmas. (definitely getting ADP this time :rofl:). so i basically told her that i was going to buy myself a replacement for the a620 (a640) and buy her one as well (sd600).

then she says "why dont you just buy one camera and we can call it yours."

we called the last 2 mine and look what happened. :rofl:. Plus, if we call it my camera that means it's not her christmas gift so i have to buy her something else. :rofl:

anyway, shes getting the SD600, a bluetooth headset and probably some victoria's secret.

Apparently she doesn't see a repeating pattern.

Just invest in some bubble wrap for it. :oh:

get her that shock proof / water proof one.

good for a five foot drop and ten feet of water

i already ordered the sd600 and completely forgot about that one. i may just buy some sheets of neoprene and superglue it around the camera. :rofl:

i jokingly told her i'd get her that fisher price digicam that i saw on tv. she didnt think that was too funny. :oh:

I got the SD from newegg with 2 year ADP plan and overnight shipping for just under 300.

i feel like those would only encourage abuse :p

just make her pay for her own camera. she'll understand :oh:

if i get it, im gettin the warrenty, going straight home and puttin it in the tub for an hour to see if that shit works. ill also drop it on my floor about ten times. :oh:

hell, i could drop it into the tub!

why would i make her buy her own christmas present? :p
