Default I got a new Head unit

A while back I got fed up with the POS durabrand cd player in my civic. I ended up ordering a clarion MP3 player from crutchfield. I got free shipping and a $20 off coupon so it was $109 shipped. The amount of features for the price was great and all of my friends said they liked their previous clairon units. All in all I'm pleased. It's not a thumpin system YO! But it does sound good and I actually use the usb feature. I don't know how it would work for some people here but for listening to music at a reasonable level it works for me.

HAN seems slow so I'm trying to strike up conversation.

The usb thing is what really sold me. Now I don't have to waste a cd for one or two songs. I have heard there is a problem with it working with some ipods

I only research when I need it. When my last HU busted, I was all "in the know" ... but since then, I haven't really looked.

Back then (spring 05), the coolest feature was a front side 1/8in aux jack.

Just use a 2gb flash drive.....that should be plenty of music to drive around with.

I'd honestly look into stashing an External HD into your glove box.

AC/DC inverter + Western Digital 300gb ext + frontside USB = awesome.

Just be sure to add some padding in the glove box, the HD isn't used to taking bumps.

That's pretty much what I do now. I had thought of the hard drive idea, I honestly don't listen to a lot of music these days but I think it would be seriously pimp.
