360-wii-ps3?
i must say nintendo was smart on in that sense
the idea is that the PS3 and Xbox are going to be so similar that the only logical choice when choosing to buy two systems (which i estimate 50% of buyers do)
is to buy the Wii as the second system....
better yet for nintendo is that most of these sales will have happened later in the systems lifespan, when production costs have already dropped due to manufacturing improvements and avalibility of parts are pretty much infinite.
but honestly though, i still feel that the main problem i face is GT5 VS HALO. i feel that right now i'd be best buying an xbox, and i feel that alot of parents looking to buy a system this year will actually jsut buy an xbox for their children because the PS3 isnt going to be around.
furthermore, the blu-ray player on the ps3 is in-consquential in the decision as blu-ray is a retarded media medium. it's a mass storage replacement, not a DVD killer.

Who needs GT5 when there is Forza2?

Forza's first try was as good or better(IMO) than Sony's 4th try with the GT series.

You do of course realize the XBX was nothing more than a large scale beta test right? Basically they toss it out to the world then tell people it is unhackable, then to prove a point people instantly hack it and show all the flaws, they also show what it can be capable of doing (used as a server, media agent etc.), then MS takes those hacks and creates a new improved system using much of the hacks and seals it up a bit better and kicks out the 360.
Smartest thing MS has done yet when you think about it, use it's detractors to make itself stronger in the end.

at it's heart it was just your basic 733MHz celeron system with a high end AGP card and a hacked down version of a MS-OS
